Agoria composes a music for the Earth on OneHome

May 06, 2020
Agoria

Wednesday, May 6, 2020. Artist Agoria supports the  OneHome initiative and has composed an exclusive music for the Earth.

Since April 10, 2020, OneHome offers a unique experience by broadcasting an inspiring video of the latest images of the Earth every day on its social networks (Instagram and Facebook), produced thanks to a NASA satellite located at 1.5 million kilometers and envisioned  by former US Vice President Al Gore. OneHome wants everyone to experience the overview effect, which made astronauts fall in love with the Earth by seeing it from space and transforming their lives. This poetic parenthesis aims to reconnect us to the beauty of our one home, the Earth, with the objective to inspire us and to protect it.

"The emotional music composed by Agoria deepens the immersive experience of OneHome and literally places us in zero gravity, facing the Earth” says Jean-Pierre Goux, president and founder of OneHome.

Emblematic figure of the world electronic scene, Agoria counts today among the most respected artists: 5 albums, soundtracks of films, collaborations / remixes with Moby, New Order, Metronomy, Tricky, Neneh Cherry, movie director Jan Kounen, the sound designer Nicolas Becker (Gravity) or the contemporary art artist Philippe Parreno (Tate Modern in London). Today at the head of his own label Sapiens, he also co-founded Les Nuits Sonores in Lyon.

"It is difficult to be understood with words. Even more so when it comes to the Earth. Words all form different images and meanings in everyone's mind. There are probably as many different images and meanings of the Earth as there are humans. My message to the Earth is therefore this instrumental piece that you may imagine with your words." says Agoria alias Sébastien Devaud.

During summer of 2020, the OneHome experience will be enriched with a revolutionary platform which will allow us to collectively express our love for our planet and to live each hour, a collective overview effect in a synchronous manner, whatever the country, nationality or origins. More details on the second phase will soon be released as well as other featuring collaborations with artists, astronauts, scientists and philosophers.

“These images are yours. At this time where a vast majority of humanity is confined at home and deprived from the Earth, may they spread and inspire people around the world to build a desirable future”, adds Jean-Pierre Goux.

It is founded by Jean-Pierre Goux, former math researcher, entrepreneur in the energy and environmental sector, author of the Blue Century (“Siècle bleu”) saga, co-founder of Blueturn (supplier of the unique Earth images for OneHome, see his TEDx conference) and president of the association Institute for desirable futures.
