About OneHome
We all share one home

Astronauts often return transformed, overwhelmed by a deep love for our planet and a sudden clarity: we all share one fragile, precious home. This revelation is known as the Overview Effect, a term coined by Frank White. It changed their lives—and it can change yours too.
At OneHome, we harness breathtaking images of Earth taken daily from one million miles away by NASA’s DSCOVR satellite. In collaboration with world-renowned artists, we transform these images into powerful, emotional experiences—designed to ignite the Overview Effect in the hearts of millions across the globe.
Our goal: to awaken planetary consciousness and unite humanity through the love of our planet.
Our mission: let every human see Earth as one

Environmental awareness is rising, unfortunately what divides us seems stronger than what unites us. At OneHome, we believe everyone should experience the awe of the overview effect — the profound realization by astronauts that we live together on one common breathtaking, fragile planet.
Our NGO brings together a global collective of artists, designers, and experts to share this vision. Thanks to our partnership with Blueturn and NASA’s DSCOVR satellite, we offer free, 4K video footage of Earth as seen from one million miles away — a perspective never before available in human history. These transformative images are accessible on our website, social networks, YouTube, and Vimeo — inviting all to reconnect with our shared home.
Blue Revolution Map

Astronauts often say the overview effect is even more powerful when shared. That is why OneHome creates breathtaking videos and tutorials to help you host physical or digital events — moments where people can collectively witness our planet as it truly is: one magnificent, fragile home.
Join the Blue Revolution (a concept introduced in the Blue Revolution book saga from Jean-Pierre Goux) and help us bring this vision to every country on Earth ! From intimate gatherings to mass screenings reaching millions via TV or livestream, your event can spark awe, unity, and a renewed sense of purpose. Track and celebrate these collective awakenings on the Blue Revolution Map — an interactive global map highlighting all events with over 10 participants.
Together, let’s unite humanity through love for our planet.
OneHome & NASA

OneHome uses images captured by NASA’s DSCOVR satellite — a mission first envisioned in 1998 by former U.S. Vice President Al Gore, launched in 2015 and positioned at Lagrange Point L1, the perfect place in the universe to admire Earth. Located one million miles away along the Earth-Sun axis — nearly four times farther than the Moon — L1 is where the gravitational forces of the Earth and the Sun balance each other out, allowing a satellite to stay in place with almost no effort.
No astronaut has ever been there, which makes the OneHome experience truly unique. From this unmatched vantage point, the Earth is always fully illuminated — a view never seen before in human history. NASA gave Earth a mirror, Blueturn set it in motion, and OneHome gave it a heartbeat.
Our core team
OneHome is a non-profit French-based organisation. Our team is working probono. We are always looking for new talents to help growing the project. The development of the OneHome platform is supported by our team and private donors.
You can contact us at contact@onehome.org if you are interested to join our team of volunteers. Currently we are looking for experts to help us manage our social networks, build our next videos (high proficiency in Adobe products and sound design) and reinforce our software development team (expert full-stack developer).

Seen from space, Earth transforms us
What if a single view of our planet could make us realize our chance and experience the interconnectedness of life? What if planetary boundaries became suddenly obvious?
Astronauts speak of a profound inner transformation sparked by their time in space. Their words reveal the deep, life-changing impact of seeing Earth from orbit or the Moon. Space doesn’t just change what you see, it changes who you are. Through OneHome, you too can experience this perspective — and awaken the same sense of awe, unity, and responsibility.

“It doesn't matter what country or what political system you are from. Space brings you together.”

Valentina Terechkova

“I have seen the beauty of the Earth but also its fragility.”

Thomas Pesquet

“The feeling of looking back at the Earth makes you appreciate how fragile is our existence”

Sally Ride

“We do not realize what we have on Earth until we leave it.”

Jim Lovell

“The first day, we all pointed to our countries. By the fifth day, we were aware of only one Earth. ”

Sultan bin Salman Al-Saud

“The world became one place for me.”
