OneHome launches the Blue Revolution
A collective challenge to change our view of the Earth and light up 100 countries by Earth day 2026
OneHome (www.onehome.org), the NGO founded by writer and mathematician Jean-Pierre Goux, is launching the Blue Revolution: a planetary movement aiming to connect citizens, schools, companies, and communities through the emotion sparked by the projection of unique videos of the Earth seen from space.
How to organize a OneHome projection?
- Choose & download one of the videos from our site
- Screen it with at least 10 people, preferably in the dark, hold a discussion, and take photos
- Register your projection on the map and help spread the movement
Before the screening, please introduce it with this short text to help contextualize the experience:
"You are about to discover unique images in human history: the entire Earth, completely illuminated, rotating in space.
These real images were filmed 1.5 million kilometers away by NASA's DSCOVR satellite and artistically enhanced by OneHome. They aim to make you experience the Overview Effect — the wonder felt by astronauts seeing Earth from space. Now it's your turn to fall in love with our planet."
Become an Earth Ambassador
Join the Blue Revolution Mission Center to become a new Earth Ambassador. Everyone can be part of the movement.
Earth ambassadors organize or catalyze screenings of OneHome Earth videos—at schools, with family and friends, in companies, in NGOs, before conferences, in cinemas... Each screening counts, as long as it gathers at least 10 people. This is not a competition, together we are building a global movement.
You will find on this site a lot of complementary materials to monitor the progress of the Blue Revolution and help you catalyse the movement, in your local community or worldwide.
The Overview Effect
Our videos of the Earth are unique in the history of humanity. Captured from the Lagrange Point L1, 1.5 million kilometers away, by NASA’s DSCOVR satellite, they show the rotating Earth fully illuminated and in its entirety for the first time — our only home (“one home”).
These images allow anyone to experience the Overview Effect, the profound shift that has transformed astronauts. “It is a shock of wonder. Suddenly, the planet appears alive, tiny, fragile. We understand that it is our common home, the ‘whole’ to which we belong” indicates Jean-Pierre Goux, OneHome president. The Overview Effect transforms our perception of the world. An audacious dream: the Blue Revolution
Facing climate disruption and collapse of ecosystems, OneHome seeks to unite humanity around what connects us all: the love of the Earth, our common home.
Schools, companies, NGOs, conferences, festivals, associations, communities, family or friends gatherings — everyone can participate and organize a projection, in person or online. Each projection — which can be integrated into any existing event — becomes a new glowing point on the Blue Revolution Map.
Lighting up 100 countries by Earth Day 2026 (22 April) is the challenge set by the Blue Revolution. 40 countries — from a remote film festival in Arctic Iceland to the government of French Polynesia — have already answered the call and projected these images to help make this dream a reality.
The OneHome experience
Enhanced with music by leading artists (Yael Naïm, Agoria, Moby…) and inspiring voices from global thinkers, astronauts, and scientists, these projections generate instant wonder. They are free to use, subtitled in 10 languages, and can be shown in a school, a cinema, or on any screen: a computer among friends, a school TV, a simple bedsheet, or even on the largest cinema screens.
